Aeon Industrial joined the 2026 Austin Deep Tech 50, a list recognizing companies driving innovation in critical defense technologies following major contract awards and production milestones.
Operating from a 140,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, Aeon has scaled its defense manufacturing capabilities and expanded production of advanced missile systems and critical subsystems.
Aeon's portfolio includes Zeus, a lightweight, software-defined tactical missile system designed for shoulder-firing that integrates propulsion, fuzing, and autonomy to address threats from drones to armored vehicles.
Naweed Tahmas, Founder and CEO of Aeon, stated the company is building manufacturing capability in Austin, backed by venture capital firm Valor Equity Partners and other leading investors.
Recognition in the Austin Deep Tech 50 positions Aeon as a key player in the region's emerging defense manufacturing ecosystem as it continues securing government contracts and scaling production.
