Undercover documentary shows Reform UK candidates making racist, sexual and violent remarks
The footage shows elected local politicians and candidates making racist, sexual and violent remarks as Reform UK faces fresh scrutiny over vetting.
Undercover ITV footage revealed members of Nigel Farage's Reform party making racist and violent remarks, including calling Asian homeowners "parasites" and expressing anti-Muslim views while campaigning in local elections earlier this year.
Footage captured one candidate discussing burying pork chops to prevent mosque construction, while another councillor claimed he wanted to "take out" illegal migrants entering Britain.
Responding to the footage, Reform confirmed that "where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced," while deputy leader Richard Tice accused ITV of "tampering" with passport information to fraudulently secure employment.
Tice claimed ITV intends to "publicise private conversations between fellow employees," alleging the broadcaster's actions "break the law, commit criminal offenses, and lie in order to circumvent vetting."
These revelations emerge as Reform has slipped in polls behind the governing Labour Party; the party has pledged to "fully co-operate" with police regarding separate foreign funding allegations, though it denies any financial wrongdoing.
