Delta One's Boozy Upgrade with $200 Wine, Luxe Dining
Delta is expanding premium service with 70 Porsche transfers, new Delta One suites and refreshed dining as it targets higher-paying travelers.
On Wednesday, Delta Air Lines announced a sweeping overhaul of its Delta One business-class cabin, describing it as its largest premium cabin investment in nearly 30 years.
Rising demand for luxury travel prompted the carrier's latest project, which Chief Marketing and Product Officer Ranjan Goswami characterized as "the next era of Delta One."
Culinary updates feature a wagyu beef burger, Hong Kong-style sea bass, and a Champagne Taittinger sorbet pairing; passengers can now pre-select meals up to 18 hours before departure.
Delta will expand its fleet of hybrid Porsche vehicles from 40 to 70 across 15 airports, while introducing a "sip & settle" service with hot towels and beverages before meals.
Implementation begins November 2 on select long-haul routes from Los Angeles, with full network rollout scheduled for early 2027 and new business class suites planned for the Airbus A350-1000 fleet.
