The United States of America, lauded these 250 years as the “great experiment” in freedom and self-government, has in fact, since its founding, been the oppressor of others. There are so many examples, manifest destiny being one of the first and assaults in Venezuela and the Middle East being the most recent. Throughout it all, propaganda has rained down upon the U.S. population, inflaming the ignorant and justifying the avaricious.
