With iOS 27, asking Siri to put music on Spotify is more fluid than ever. A very useful feature that citizens of the European Union (EU) will still have to do.
Spotify has made it easier to control music with Siri in iOS 27. Previously, we needed to end our voice commands with “on Spotify” for the music to play in the Spotify app. Now Siri itself can learn which music service we prefer and automatically select Spotify. It works with everything from songs and albums to podcasts and audiobooks.
Spotify simplified Siri's music orders on iOS 27: some users can already request songs and other content without saying "in Spotify", provided they meet the compatibility requirements.
