Bloom Makes Honest Admission About Ten-Year Title Target
Bloom said Hearts should win the Scottish Premiership within 10 years after last season’s final-day loss and a strong start under new coach Wouter Vrancken.
Brighton chairman Tony Bloom reaffirmed his ambition for Hearts to win the Scottish Premiership within ten years, holding a 29% stake in the Edinburgh club.
Hearts led the league for 250 days last season before a final-day defeat at Celtic Park, an outcome Bloom described as "exceptionally disappointing for the club and for me as well."
Under new head coach Wouter Vrancken, Hearts currently sit third in the Scottish Premiership, having lost Derek McInnes, Lawrence Shankland, and Cammy Devlin to Rangers.
Bloom remains optimistic about the season, stating "we've brought in a lot of new players" ahead of Sunday's trip to Celtic Park.
Breaking the dominance of Celtic and Rangers remains the primary objective, with Bloom vowing to "disrupt the pattern of domination which has been in place for far too long" at Gorgie.
